Oh but for the courage! Some days I feel like I’m The Lion. Not from Narnia, but from Oz. So please. Dare me. Dare me to move.
I sure could do with the push.

oooh…Tyra Banks would be proud if you could fit through that and strut your thing!
» A Lil Fat Monkey
Fit through what, again? I’m completely lost here.
But the strut your thing bit, that I can handle. LOL
Give us a roar dude..
I wish i have the courage to move on as well… hate where i’m at right now. sighh…
» keropokman
Uhm… “meow”?
» spiffy
You do have the courage, dear. It’s the impetus that’s tough. But once the ball starts rolling, you’ll be hard-pressed to stop…
oh. u are behaving exactly like what the lion is doing in wiz of oz.
take courage lion.
u are the king of the jungle.
if you are still not convince, visit the Lion City. We will feed u here. LOL
» keropokman
And what will you feed me in the Lion City? What magic will you weave over me? How will you wrap Courage around my heart? Are you the Great Wizard Oz or Merlin or Merlion? LOL
NB. The Merlion joke will, of course, only be understood by folks familiar with the Singaporean mascot…
Yeah.. Take courage dude~ Just take the step of faith!
Maybe chilli crab might do some good in restoring the vigour?
No magic is needed.
Food will do you good. It’s all natural and no hokey pokey.
that’s a good one. Merlin and Merlion. LOL
» inspireme
The step of faith? Hmm, they do say one step is all it takes…
» keropokman
Ooh chilli crab… Now you got this lion’s all a-drooling…
And there’s nothing wrong, is there, with some holey pokey?
I’ve forgotten abt Oz. Ok. Tiger is with you, with droopy eyes. :p
no problem.. we have faith in you, Lion!
I guess you should see the badge I made to one of my post. I am brave
http://equilibrium2008.wordpress.com/2008/05/14/dont-be-afraid/
The cowardly lion from the Wizard of Oz was always looking for Courage. When he found it he shouted it from one end of Oz to the next… erm.. you need to get up on high ground and shout .. “i will, i can, i shall !!!” .. lol… can?!
» tigerfish
Hehe, the Tiger from The Jungle Book (Shere-Khan) or the one from Winnie the Pooh (the Tigger)?
» BossCat
Thanks!
» equilibrium2008
Good on ya… fortune favours the bold.
» cumi&ciki
LOL… can, can, can!
Awww!! HUGS!!! You know what it’s for.
Thanks.
» Kookymonsta
*hugs back!*
Some days I feel like how you feel some days too.
If I push you, make sure you pull me along ya!
P.S. Make sure you pull me to the Lion City for some of that chilli crab keropokman was talking about.

i’ll get your a toy mouse.
oops.. get you a toy mouse
» Michelle
Hahaha… this must be the push-and-pull factor everyone’s yapping about in Economics classes the world over.
» Lyrical Lemongrass
*trips*
» teckiee
EEks! Takut tikus!!
LOL… not really. I love terminating vermin. Call me the ratcatcher.
Push-pull in economics?
We have push-pull in architecture too! We “push-pull” the walls in our design so that they aren’t square anymore. Haha..
» Michelle
Oh dear. Architect’s humour. A dangerous thing in the wrong hands…
As the Wicked Witch of the East(ern Province of Ceylon), I hereby GIVE YOU PERMISSION to be brave, to be adventurous, to be HAPPY.
It’s a little white butterfly and its landing on your right ear right now (pun intended).
» Sharanya
Hehe, such a blessing.
And you’re the BEST Wicked Witch ever, East/West.
Haha come to Singapore and we will not only feed you chili crab for courage but many other stuff too! Just be prepared for dragonbreath +5!! lol
» Camemberu
Chili crab for courage? That sounds like my kinda tonic for courage alright!
Kenny - I thought it was your own drawing. I’m pretty sure you’d be a pretty good illustration … that’ll get you going with courage!
takes great roaring courage to say that
» Tunku Halim
Thanks, I really should return to illustrations soon; it’s been awhile and my drawing skills are getting rusty!
» backStreetGluttons
RRRROOOOOOAAAAAARRRRR!!!!!!
Sure love that illustration. Something similar I saw in a German children’s book is that of a scaredy St Bernard whose courageous friend is a mouse.
How is your cartooning and illustrating, Kenny? I want to write about the adventures of Ice Mouse and Small Duck.
» argussimo
The adventures of Ice Mouse and Small Duck? I’ve to confess I’ve never heard of this brave pair. I’m prolly better at illustrating than cartooning though I’m game to try new things.
My favourite illustrator is Edward Gorey… Read any of his stuff (He’s a writer too.)
Kenny,
Don’t worry. Whatever you wish to do, just do it. There’s no need to think too much. All you need is courage and believe in yourself. All the best to you…
» Jennifer
Thank you, dear. That’s incredibly sweet of you. *hugs*
would a kick in the butt do too?
» lotsofcravings
Aww, but who’d wanna ruin my best feature? LOL
are you going to propose marriage again ar???
push or be pushed, best of luck to you, dude! ;D
» Nic (KHKL)
LOL!! No lah… where got? Your question is making me nervous though. That’s yet another thing to think about. Oh Life’s nothing if not interesting…
No body says u hv to roar….. just start doing something! =)
» daphne
…
That’s the best advice yet.
I just ordered two books by E Gorey from Book Depository (free delivery to CH). Nice illustrations, reminiscent of Quentin Blake, one of my fav illustrators.
Of course, you haven’t heard of Ice Mouse and Small Duck. My O.H. and I created them. Well, the real Small Duck you’ve seen in one of my old posts last year. ice Mouse is the one we blame for things that go missing in the fridge!
» argussimo
Ah it’s meant to be! Fancy me mentioning Mr. Gorey and your having just ordered two of his books. I adore Mr. Blake too. I love the idea of the Ice Mouse being responsible for Missing Things From the Fridge!
mari mari.
camemberu, nic and keropokman will feed you. feed you well that you have courage to propose :-p
» keropokman
Hahaha, my three fairygodmothers. Well, make that two fairygodbrothers and one fairygodsister. (More gender- and age-friendly, ya? Hehe.)
My Singaporean
