Chanson

.

It’s Friday the thirteenth. Not a good number to start our night off with but tomorrow wouldn’t do. They say Valentine’s Day is for lovers, but not when you have your own spouses to attend to.

We have to be careful. I abandon my car, and take public transport instead. The train. You pick me up at the Central Station. I slip into your car quietly, there is no smile of recognition. We could just be any two people heading out for a business dinner, for a professional appointment. Except there is nothing professional about this, beyond the perfectly choreographed routine, the text messages deleted immediately upon dispatch, the dark shades of our attire a black mirror of our clandestine deeds — no, there’s nothing here but a play of amateurs, fumbling in a theatre of our own lust and distrust and the fear that it will all surely end, and end badly.

But this is not a time for endings yet. The night is just beginning, young and cruel, full of promises waiting to be broken and soft lies to be whispered in your ear, in mine. The maître d’ guides us to a table with dishes still empty — who knows what will end up on our plates, our lips, our very hungry bellies? We hope to get fed tonight, and with something more than simply good food to sustain us.

By candlelight warm and waxing, by the crisp spark of wineglasses lingering against each other, we sit and wait. We have all night.

  • I’ve never been superstitious of Friday the 13th ‘coz I was born on one. :P

I find this post a sexy read. I meant it when I commented previously that you’re a really great story-teller, Kenny. ;)

*serenades to Kenny & the love of his life*

Chanson d’amour, ra da da da da, play encore.
Here in my heart, ra da da da da, more and more.

Chanson d’amour, ra da da da da, je t’adore.
Each time I hear, ra da da da da, Chanson, chanson, d’amour.

    Ra da da da da

    Ra da da da da

Chanson d’amour, ra da da da da, je t’adore.
Each time I hear, ra da da da da, Chanson, chanson, d’amour.

    Every time I hear
    Chanson, chanson, d’amour.

    *curtsies & exits* :D

  • Candlelight dinner huh..you will always expect what gonna happens next, a goodbye kiss or just not going back. Don’t you agree? :p (I know what would you answer me for this, haha)

  • Gulp.

I nearly thought this is some edison-chen-like scandalous liaison.
    pheww.

    Travelling?
I Love going places. Kinda busy with project, hopefully will have opportunity to represent Malaysia in Berlin in October!!

  • ahhh…finally i get to read ur posts again..the last few days of Streamyx prob made it impossible to load ur pages on my laptop..but judgin frm the responses to ur post. seems that moi only one havin tat prob???!
This post.. sent a thrill up my spine — such sexy undertones!

  • Of course you’re no adulterer. Why go shopping when you have a mall at home already? :P

  • Somehow I feel grateful that I am NOT on streamyx. HAHA

And this post is making me drool with borderline starvation. DARN! And I am now in Sierramas with like NO DELIVERY SERVICE whatsoever.

Hence, I nod down in despair and as my tummy grumbles in an anorexic fit.

An affair with beautiful memories, two lives entwined to share and space to grow with true love’s caress is all worth it, I say!”

  • scandalous indeed…

what happen to breakfast in bed?

    encore?!

  • Sweet nothings, eh? So how was dinner? How did the night end? hehe “wink”

  • chocolat, champagne, chanson…woah, so the creative la you! :)

Girls in red riding hoods must walk in dark woods and wolves must howl.” so true lah.…i think we have another term for that: cari pasal…haha!

ok, i know about this dinner but still, it’s very mostly nearly Hide and Seek Part Deux for me… ;)

  • A lovers’ tryst, the walls have ears and watch out for the fly on the ceiling!

You went to Moxie??? When? When?? Can I share this post with Param and Johan?

And how’s Leonardo’s? I spend way too much time at Moxie’s to discover Leonardo’s :P

  • No, I want to whet your desire, to bait your hunger and make it a meal for us. I want you to taste what we could taste like, a fusion of sinful flavours, a palate fit for purgatory. I want to wet your lips, with your tongue, with mine, to crave for what is to come. What will surely come. Always is my promise.”

We are lovers with no songs. There was never any tune that could decipher our mysteries and our deceits.”

    My two favorite parts–
this was a sexy read I agree-though I think sensual may be a better word…but a delicately balanced one, well done.…appealed to my senses intensely and the good and bad of my (unspoken) intentions…what do you do when you fantasize about a night so rich with a person that, isn’t yours?

The taste is smooth and smoky, like a kiss from a woman I’m not married to, wrong and wonderful.

We are both wicked and so good for each other.”

    sigh.

  • Don’t be cruel to leave us in suspense for too many days…all of us want to know the ending and we are waiting and waiting :)

  • oooooooooooooooooooooooooo…

so sexy… but i think it is tooo hot to handle… i better leave… LOL

  • After all, aren’t entrées for play?”

Indeed, indeed. Play seems to grip us from within, relentlessly, exposing all our foolish tendencies, as pedestrian as frappe. I know this is fictitious, but jesus, how well you remind us of truth! Don’t stay away too long, Kenny!

  • Bwaaaah, Kenny you make me sad lah!! Eh, is creme fraiche really slutty? Actually, come to think about it… ya lah, you’re right. Quite slutty. *nod nod*

  • oh how that this be offensive!! It is a romantic and sexy read for sure! Ohhh.. not to mention those pretty dishes that go with it.….….….

  • Aiyayaya… I actually just gonna apply for the Tasmanian Girl but I guess the position is no longer vacant! hahaha.… :P

  • O.M.G.

Go and see for yourself… I love the cod.
