Come, have some sushi with me
A smörgåsbord to choose from
Fermented rice adorned
With the fruits of the sea.
Come, have some sushi with me
It’s hard to pick just one
When it’s all said and done
We’re all a little greedy.

I want to have sushi with you
Tuna, Salmon, Hamachi
You can have every piece
of the oh-so-fresh raw fish
I want to have sushi with you
Maki, Nigiri, California roll
all the different kinds
A feast for the palate surely
Ooo!
One of my faves! When ar???
I love going to Legend’s buffet. Sigh … good sashimi there … of course, it’s better with friends.
Is this the 6th S?
Lets go MARU!
BUt 1st, a safe drive to Melaka and do binge on the nyonya food! (arghh..I’m jeles!! )
i await the sequels to this entry! the possibilities are endless… a sense of spaghetti… a sense of sausages… a sense of sundaes…
Love eating sushi and the best part is the wasabi, when it hits the nerves inside the nose!!! Wow!!! Interesting sensation that can make someone smile and cry at the same time
I want to have sushi with you again…
on your next trip up North again
Will only have a bite of the salmon
Or maybe ten bites. And that’s about all I partake of sushi!
drop me a line next time u’re in melb– we go feast!
me is the like your lil sushi poster there! very nice font.
Reads like an invitation to explore the unexplored, haha! OK, sushi first, sentiments second! Sashimi never did get quite up to speed with the rawness of emotions eh?
As I am typing this, hubby brought sushi home for dinner– TIMELY!
We’re all a little greedy? Are u talking about food or about something else?
How about Sense and “Sushibility”?
a scene from sex and the city comes to mind…*thinking thinking* ooohhh…is this really inspired by that scene? O-o
lol SATC sushi scene xD i think that’s a classic scene!
which reminds me that it’s been a long time since i have some sushi. hmm.
I like tamago sushi, cheapest but is the best for me
you rhyme so fine.. i am inclined ..
to get jiggy with sushi
a handfool of sour rice , indeed we shall eat many
I want to have Sushi with you. Always great to stop by your wonderful blog.
… wow, talk about greedy! LOL
Nice rhyming reply, bro! I’d answer back but now rushing off to Ipoh! Later, lah…
Did someone say “buffet”? Ah, ze magic word…
P.S. It’s always better with friends, aye.
For foodies like me, YES!
Eh, coming here for the holidays ah?
Nope, for work. And I have to correct myself, it was actually Tronoh. Just that Perak for me = Ipoh.
Back in KL di but looking forward to making a foodie pilgrimage to Ipoh sometime next year. Who’s with me on this?
Melaka? But that’s only on Friday morn lah. I guess a certain house-moving Unka toldja? Hehe.
And I don’t binge on Nyonya food; surprisingly despite being a true-blue Malaccan, I don’t fancy Peranakan cuisine all that much. But give me some good cendol…
Haha, there will almost definitely be a sequel, mostly cos I have tons more photos — just that last nite was too tired after work to Photoshop more than one image. Which may also explain the very, very short post.
I need to tell you right now that freshly made wasabi ice-cream is one of my fave things in the world. Seriously.
Yes, yes, please. Either when I head to Penang or you come down to KL. Or who knows? We might turn up at a third, as-yet-undisclosed location that must serve as our next food paradise?
Ah so you’re a salmon sorta guy. All about spawning and such, right?
Ooh, feasting in Melbourne sounds too good to miss! Count me in, dear. Now to go book me some flight tickets, hehe.
I is also the like that you is the like my lil sushi poster… LOL
Hehe, finally someone who reads between the lines, literally… Raw and emotional, is sushi is, or at least the plethora of choices…
Good on your hubby! Sushi dinners ahoy!
Hahaha. Maybe food. Maybe something else. You decide.
Would you believe I actually thought of “Sense and Sushibility” too, for the next chapter? But have another possible title too. I’ll have to wait after I deal with the images and see which title they go better with…
Nah, more inspired by the last line of the poem, if you can believe that. The human sushi bar scene from SATC always makes me laugh more than aroused, akcherly…
Wasabi ice-cream? Never heard of it.… Oh my… I gotta try it!!!
Come to Kuala Lumpur and I’ll take you to our favourite Japanese restaurant here to try it!
Haha, a long time since you had some sushi or some sushi, SATC-style?
Cheapest can also be the best sometimes, right?
For some reason, your comment put an image of Will Smith in a sushi chef’s uniform in my head…
Once you start, you just can’t stop!
I’d love to have sushi with you too, dear. I bet sushi tastes all that much better with new friends!
