This week’s Friday Five is all about literature, novels and poetry. Oddly, for me, I don’t feel like answering them. I’m currently sick of all the reading I’m doing and all the reading I’m not.
I will say I’m really enjoying both The Lonesome Crowded West and This A Long Drive For Someone With Nothing To Think About, both wicked early albums by Modest Mouse. Wish I had some Magnetic Fields though, especially 69 Love Songs. Stephin Merritt writes the most delicious lyrics:
.
A pretty girl is like a violent crime
If you do it wrong you could do time
But if you do it right it is sublime…
