Your instant messenger status is always ‘Away’, so I have to guess if you are here or if you are not. Sometimes I write random messages to you, simply to see if I would get a response in the chat window. Usually I don’t but now and then, a reply pops up. Yo, you would say. What’s up?
Who knows, really. We don’t always need a reason to communicate. I ask you if your status is permanently ‘Away’ and you laugh and reply, Possibly.
And that’s the best and worst thing about a status that is a mystery, isn’t it? The possibility. You could be here or you could be elsewhere. You could be near or you could be not. We are only a chat window away from each other but I do not know if you are there, at the other end.
Still, I am hopeful. I type another message and click ‘Send’.

eh, this must be MSN messenger. i think google chat doesn’t allow folks to pretend to be ‘away’ when they’re actually not (unlike how so many people pretend to be busy or offline!). oh, the tricks & travails of online communication! :D

This is what I love about you… you’re not afraid to express yourself – any time & any place. You would reach out and tell your friends whatever you want to say. And most importantly,you would stay close to your friends – even if it’s just online or via sms or twitter and through your blog.

Hehe busy is for when I’m really busy but away is for when I’m “pretending to be busy”. LOL

one of my friends will always stay invisible in fb…but she’s actually there all the time..she just suddenly jumped into join in our conversation ..reason is she’s on the online games and doesnt want to be interrupted.
