Just thought to mentioned we watched ‘Clerks’ last Saturday night, while Manuel cooked risotto with mushrooms (porcini & finferli).

I tried watching it alone once, but didn’t get past the first 15 mins (prolly cos I was dead tired at the time, which most sensible folk would know is no time for watching movies, but I’m as far from sensible as you can get). Somehow it’s funnier this time round, even for those of us who had watched it before (Monkey Boy’s put it on top of his Kevin Smith list, which is impressive).

Felt very much like Dante, who’s bitching about everything all the time. Which explains why I’m always surrounding myself with friends who mostly go “Hhm?” when I turn to them with the weight of the world on my shoulders.

Everyone should have a best bud like Randal.
