its so cool that u r writing more these days…. and to be honest.. i have not yet read nearly five of your back posts… it came like a sudden thunderstorm in a parched desert and i think i would take some time out next week to read…
but i felt its like a new u in 2011… when it comes to writing more :) :)
@vimesh: I’m glad I’m writing more too. My motto for 2011: Just write, write, write. Everything else is simply a distraction.
What I mean by that is that I’ve stopped trying to be a perfectionist where writing is concerned cos there is no true perfection anyway. It’s more fun to go ahead and record down whatever happened or however I’m feeling on any given day, press click and send it off to cyberspace for prosperity.
It may not be great but it’s mine, and one day a much older me would deeply appreciate me for writing all this down.
P.S. Take your time, bro. These posts aren’t going anywhere… *winks*
my mind is very much alive..that few lines are not reflecting on me..just simply..sometimes we have to write nonsense or stimulate our brains to make our hearts even more alive..hehe.
sounds like u need 40mg pantoprazole stat ;p
@Jun: Better make that 60mg, Doc! Hehe.
There’s a fat in my belly
It will not go out without a fight
I will swim and I will run
For it to fit my pants nice and tight.
@Devil: *faintedssss*
There’s fire in me. *FULL STOP*
Sorry Kenny but I like Devil’s poem more (because I can relate to it better).
ROFL
If there was a “like” button somewhere, I’d click a million “likes” on Devil’s comment.
what’s wrong? hope u r okay by the time i read this. .or standby lots of toilet paper, ha!
there’s a hole in my heart
for it will never heal without a fight
let them flow and let them go
as this shall bring my heart back to alive.
Devil: Hahahahaha.. well said!! :D

I thought the easy solution would be ENO?? LOL
I would like to use that fire to bake some nice pizzas or potatoes for me. :D
@jemima: Oh, there sure is. Absolutely.
@J the chocoholic: Oh, don’t start – you’ll only give Devil an even bigger head! *chuckles*
@Michelle: Et tu, Brutus?
@lena: Uhm, nothing’s wrong. “A fire in the belly” doesn’t really mean there’s a tummy upset… Eh.
May your heart stay ever lively, my dear.
@gfad: You three?? Oh, all these traitorous friends o’ mine!
@vimesh: I’m glad I’m writing more too. My motto for 2011: Just write, write, write. Everything else is simply a distraction.

@Leo (thule): Actually, Devil and I both had to drink some ENO after dinner yesterday, hehe. *BBUURRRPPP!!!*
@kyh: How is it possible that everyone (almost) is associating this post with FOOD? *groans*
I wouldn’t mind a nice gorgonzola pizza now, though. *chuckles*
There’s a bird in my pants… Ok let’s not go there. Hahaha.
the fire in me had dwindled over time :p
ooh, devil has inspired me!
hmmmm…
“there’s an alien in my stomach
it will not burst out with prior warning
i will bawl and i will howl
when it rips my guts apart.”
— inspired in equal measure by ridley scott’s 1979 masterpiece :D
hmm… i guess cos u mentioned belly… lols…
my mind is very much alive..that few lines are not reflecting on me..just simply..sometimes we have to write nonsense or stimulate our brains to make our hearts even more alive..hehe.
LOL!!! I like Devil’s poem too!
But yes, I totally agree on the perfectionism bug. And wasn’t it Voltaire who said the perfect is the enemy of the good? Yes, write, just write!!!
Good reminder for me too…
@alilfatmonkey: I’m CERTAINLY not going there! Hahaha…
@babe_kl: Time to rekindle that flame, my dear. Maybe we can get Cap’n Hook to help you out on this? Hehe.
@Sean: I’ll give you the same reply I gave Devil – *faintedssss*
@asstha: Yeah, but “a fire in my belly” means there’s a strong, burning passion in me… not, not FOOD-related… *gives up*
@lena: Ah, I get it now. Hehe. Long day here, so brain’s not super-functioning either.
@Camemberu: Ooh, Voltaire said that, eh? We are in good company then, my friend. *winks*
There’s an instinct in my belly
It will not go without a test
I will hear and I will act
For what I know is for the best
@rokh: May you pass your every test, for you know you are always your own best.
ROCK ON!!!
lol @Devil’s poem: Devil 1, Kenny 0. No lemon sherbets for u kenny :P
@Jun: It isn’t fair! I want some lemon sherbet too! *pouts*
[...] 以上這首英文詩和照片是我從馬少的blog 那‘借來’的。 [...]
There is seehum in my belly
Alas! tis just a dream in my head
I will howl and I will scowl
Til I tire and fall back in my bed
@gfad: And for the third time (and hopefully third time’s the charm and I don’t get any more of these):
*FAINTEDSSSS*
Kenny, it’s just plain nice lah!
Thanks, dear! So sweet of ya.
