Right, boys and girls, Uncle Kenny’s been rather busy the past few days doing things like actually studying and cleaning up his apartment. I’m finally getting some time alone with a PC (don’t even let me get into my relationship with my electronics…) and what better way to spend it than to flood the Web with more useless dribble as such?
So, Monday was a mad rush up to KL for my MBA registration. It’s a small class of thirty so I got meself a posse rather quick. Kiran, a Mauritian and Tan from Ipoh, home to beautiful Chinese girls (pity, Tan’s a dude). Also ladies Phoebe, Veronica from Hong Kong (she speaks Mandarin in addition to Cantonese and swears I too can learn to write those funny Chinese symbols in thirty easy steps!), Zarina and Aizan (she hates Malaysian Airlines for some reason or another, and after seeing its latest ad, I’m forced to agree.)
Of course, everyone already had a place to stay but I was only just moving in. I opted not to stay with the other students (instead me apartmentmates are a chef and a Filipino corporate character) for the sake of privacy. Like I’ve mentioned before, the place is pricey but as it turns out, also amazingly convenient, so I’m actually glad I listened to me Dad for once.
I got on so famously in Marketing Management I managed to persuade the lecturer to break his three/four persons to a group policy and let me have five (Kiran, Tan, Zarina, Aizan). These guys come from a mixed variety of backgrounds (engineering, finance, business administration, island nations). I think marketing’s got into me blood as I was breathing, eating and sleeping marketing since that class.
Tuesday saw me going bananas researching with my group even though no guidelines have been passed out yet. I just enjoy a headstart and they don’t seem to mind me putting them through the grinder. Even lunch became some sort of farce as I opined that this one place was doing better than the other cuz of its location, blahblahblah.
Oh gosh, I believe I actually enjoy this.
Right now I’m in lab for a few sec’s of guilty blogging before surfing for private companies’s marketing budgets. This is where all the Hacking 101 classes come in handy. I feel alive, boys and girls. Of course, in another week or so, I’ll be a writhing, insensible vegetable, but that’s later…
Not gonna describe me new room other than the crazy no. of photoframes with all the year’s memories etched on it. Strange considering how much I did not enjoy Salzburg that I have two photos of it, more than any other place. One’s of Shannon taking a pic of Useless McG taking a pic of her with me grinning open-mouth by her side. And all the Austrian kids Mike’s adopted.
The other one’s of all us warm and smiling in the dry and cosy restaurant. Look up in the gallery (I believe Shannon has a drawing of that in her house somewhere). I guess in Salzburg, the company was better than the climate.
