Neue Pinakothek

Margaret Stonborough-WittgensteinThe highlight today was an afternoon trip to the Neue Pinakothek, an art museum in the heart of München (only one of the many many cos this seems to be the City of Museums).

I especially loved this trip cos I saw my first Picasso, and better yet, three paintings by Van Gogh, including a version of the famous Sunflowers. But the best has got to be this one by Gustav Klimt, whose paintings have been reproduced as posters everywhere. It’s called “Bildnis Margaret Stonborough-Wittgenstein”.

Sensual collage.
