So, I’m in Switzerland at last, specifically Bern. It’s a beautiful city but I’ve arrived late after a day of travelling, from London Waterloo to Paris Gare Du Nord, and then from there Basel, and now Bern.

You can tell the difference: The place is cleaner, safer, and the youth hostel’s freakin’ reception closes at 10pm.

No matter, cuz some kids snuck me in, so I’m gonna be crashing at a rather comfy couch. And then tomorrow, the bear pits … whatever they are.
