can I stare in your eyes and not be deceived by my own mad cravings what is desire but blame for love and other things could you come to me say you belong to me touch me and not hurt me filter all these thoughts throw away my hopes trample this if you will there are days when I can forget your face or your existence those days are too few yet I do not regret why torture is not my taste to do it myself wants something inside I cannot drift away with the winds I wish I could as a bird I can fly away from you but your sun will melt the wax from my wings and your sea will wash me to your cove you do not ask me I wish you would to surrender yet I know it would not be sweet if I did but maybe I can hide in slumber you will never find me yet I wish you would at least seek I know you would not.
