“Where are the bath towels?” you ask.
“I’ve put them in the laundry basket,” I say, “go and get new ones.”
You go into the bedroom and return with a huge grin on your face. You toss me a couple of towels, one lands on my head.
“New towels! The ones we bought last month and forgot about! Feel how soft they are.”
I look at you and smile back. We let our faces and our fingers sink into the towel fur. So soft. So comfortable. What more do we need?

I can’t wait.
@Rad: You can’t wait for towels?
Softlan or Comfort when you wash them. :p
@jemima: Hahahaha… Good one, that. I do get the impression that all towels lose their fluffiness in time no matter how much softener one uses. Pity.
Both of u really know how to enjoy every single moment in ur life, I wish I can ~~
@Choi Yen: Life is short, and very often quite difficult. All the more reason to enjoy it and appreciate every moment while we can. *hugs*
what more do you need? good detergent to make sure the towels stay soft and comfy! :D
@Sean: Read Jemima’s comment above, my friend — it’s softener and not detergent which keeps the towels soft and comfy. You must depend on the services of a good laundrette, yes?
That does sound like my boyfriend. Who spends a bundle on shockingly expensive towels.
@Paul: Your better half should meet mine. And go shopping. (On second thought, better not — the luxury goods folks will be way too happy and us less so after their shocking spree.)
You and this person are like my sister and I. :)
@Michelle Chin: “This person” will probably thank you for the comparison. Hehe.
I need soft bath towels too.
@Michelle: Oh do get some! You will never regret it!
For the same moment but different towel! ;))
@Rad: A different towel and a different person, yes? *hugs*
No matter how much softlan I use, towels are never as soft. :(
Finally I just gave up using any softener. Un-softened towels dry much better anyway.. ^_^
@gfad: I wonder if we can belt out a rendition of ‘Un-Break My Heart’ but change the title/lyrics to ‘Un-Harden My Towel’? Hehe.
