Some days I’m Tweedledum.

“If you think I’m sad, you ought to say, you know. Sadness isn’t made to please for nothing. Nohow! I hope you don’t suppose these are real tears? Do I look very pale? Yes – a little? I’m very brave generally, only today I happen to have a heartache.”

Some days I’m Tweedledee.

“Contrariwise, if you think I’m happy, you ought to speak. Well, it’s no use your talking about loving me when you’re only one of the things in my dream. You know very well you’re not real.”

Some days I’m Tweedledum and Tweedledee, agreeing and disagreeing with myself endlessly, and before long I guess I would just go “Ditto, ditto, ditto!” all day, without knowing what I’m saying if I ever did in the first place.
