Now some time yesterday evening, during dinner at the local pub with Manuel, Erich and Giorgio (the stewpid duo reunited!), J-Dawg and I were having a conversation about Tai-Chi.
I saw myself taking it up at some point in my life, partly cos it’d be something to do with my Dad, who’s a master in that art, partly to gain some kinda balance. Monkey took one look at me and opined he could never see me taking up Tai-Chi for the same reason he couldn’t see Woody Allen taking it up.
Apparently cos of all the nervous energy we seem to have in common.
Now, I took offence at this. I mean, I enjoy watching Woody Allen films and all (though I wish he didn’t appear in them), but saying I was like the guy was too much. I mean he married his ex-lover’s adopted Korean daughter, for Gob’s sakes!
Actually, Woody has gone even further than this, not quite repenting, and now is on a Adopt-A-Daughter spree. This, strangely enough, impresses me.
I suspect he has a thing for young Asian girls. So do I.
(Damnit, I hate it when J-Dawg’s right!)
