It’s time to put on a suit and tie again. A corporate life, a nine-to-five. Business or pleasure? (Mostly pain.) To climb and climb, to strive and strive.
A suit and tie. A nine-to-five. An honest way to lead a life.
Why, then, do I already miss my days as a bum? (Or “struggling/starving artist” to some.) So much freedom, so much uncertainty. No fixed routine means endless possibilities.
Or maybe not. Maybe I miss the routine. Maybe I miss the hard work, the way I used to win.
Maybe I ought to just give this a chance. I might enjoy returning to this old dance. I might even be good, might even be great. Time is to live now, never wait.
